Sarah Wood, Head of Allied Health at Learning for Life, has co-authored a chapter in Diversity, Inclusion & Engagement, a resource supporting teachers to meet diverse learning needs in the classroom. Written alongside Dr Erin Leif, Russell Fox and Karina Stocker, the chapter unpacks effective behaviour support tools and techniques for inclusive classrooms, from understanding behaviour and its underlying causes, through to practical strategies teachers can use day to day.
We are truly proud of Sarah, for turning years of hands-on practice into something teachers everywhere can learn from. It reflects Learning for Life's belief that runs through our work every day: support does not stop with the clients we serve; it should reach out into the broader community and help build a more inclusive world for every person. This resource will sit on shelves well beyond any one classroom, shaping how the next generation of educators think about behaviour support.
