Social Skills for School-Age Children

Social Skills Programs at L4Life

Learning for Life Autism Centre provides a small group social skills program for school-age children to help them in developing friendships, navigating social challenges, and building skills around emotion regulation.

It is suitable for autistic and other neurodivergent children, or any child who requires support with emotion regulation and social skills.

Your child will work in small groups under the guidance of our Clinical Consultants.

No diagnosis needed.

Your child will work through how to:

  • recognise emotions in themselves and others
  • express feelings in appropriate ways
  • start, continue and end conversations and play activities with others
  • cope with feelings of anger and anxiety
  • tell the difference between friendly joking and mean teasing
